Shh I’m Not Listening
If you take a look around my school’s architecture studio, you will see that a good majority of the students will be furiously working on their laptops or building models — while listening to music. It is a good idea (and a hot trend) for architecture students to pick up a good pair of noise-canceling (or well-padded) headphones. It is also a fashion statement. The techies in these students like to go for the high-end electronics, and the hipsters in them like to go for the design. Whether these headphones are Beats or Skullcandy, they all boast the users sense of style – perhaps white with red accents for the European boy, hot pink for the girl in the corner, or black and chrome for the angsty one.
I have never really taken an extreme interest in electronics, but I do harbor a growing interest in obtaining a set of fashionable headphones for my own auditory enjoyment. However, the skaterboy black-with-whatever-color-accent look does not quite suit my taste. I want something fresh with color, but not too gaudy. And, the girl in me wants something a little on the cute and feminine side. I present to you KOTORI 201. These headphones offer a screen print in a variety of colors, and even the cord is colored to match the different schemes. I also appreciate the beautiful case that the headphones come in.
And my favorite part? You can even design your own headphones, and ensure that nobody has the same pair! Well, almost nobody. Check it out —
